Im a 25 yr old single guy and i have had a dwi as well as a speeding ticket. Im paying 124 a month. I do have the 1yr loyalty and 3yr accident free discounts. Im actually surprised that its that low on a brand new car. I recently quoted esurance and they said 119 a month. So i may switch over when my policy is up for renewal but ill prolly do some more research

Be carful with esurance. They lowball everyone to get customers then double your premium the second year. There are plenty of bad reviews reflecting this online. Saving $5 a month is not worth the headaches.

Thanks for the heads up! yeah thats why i waited and was gonna research it more next renewal. I agree 5$ is not worth the headaches. I also need to check out USAA, ive been a previous member before so hopefully they give me some sort of discount. I only stopped cause i was forced off my parents insurance policy. Also gonna check out statefarm.

Im 23, Ive had a wreck and 3 points on my license. I use to be paying 222/ month for a 09 GTS (for 3 years). I bought a 2012 Ralliart TODAY and i got insurance on this with a 500 deductible for 137/month!
So being younger def doesnt help, but if your going on your parents insurance, and your parents records are clean, I am going to say your insurance is gonna be less than 100/ month. This also depends on how many vehicles your parents have on their insurance too.

This is probably as close as i can get you without being an agent myself haha.

and boy, you have nice parents. Buying you a Ralliart!!!! Cheers. Goodluck

False

Anyway, I ended up not going the Ralliart route. I will be able to save more money for a GT-R now though, so I could care less about the Ralliart, lol.

WOW a GT-R?!?! Why not get a evo and mod the hell out of it! And you can beat a GTR on the track. It will still be cheaper in the long run

Thinking a GTR at that age? Holy cow, I remember being so happy just to have worked hard enough to be able to buy my own cheap POS first car. Now i'm a full time engineer and i'm really happy to have a Ralliart, I haven't even begun to think about setting sights on anything more expensive than it with college loans and house payments.

What are you guys talking about? I am not buying a GTR tomorrow or anything. My goal is to buy one before my 22nd birthday, paying in full. And if you knew what type of guy I was, you would know you wouldnt have to worry about drinking and such.

I admit, my parents are well off, but they will never buy me a car. I find myself to be neither of the above. Just a hard worker.

If you're concerned about the insurance price of a Ralliart, how are you going to afford the insurance of a GT-R?..

There's no way in hell a 16 year old hard worker can have that much money to pay for a GT-R in a few years.

Unless you pay 0 bills and save at least 90% of what you make to put in the bank. Living expenses are enough. I'm 24, living with my boyfriend. Without his income, in addition with mine, I wouldn't be able to pay for my RA. And I work 6 days a week, making more than the average 24 year old does.

Idk how you'll do it dude, but I'll believe it when I see it, lol. :P

Yep all of us here are now working hard and getting paid good money and have tweaked what we could to keep our insurance down getting a GTR even doing rough math again 90% of what u make is still falling short of what u would need to get it and a young 1st time driver yr insurance in that type of car would be a car payment in its self!
