Painting Stock Muffler
I've always hated how the stock muffler hangs below the rear diffuser and is very visible from behind. The silver metal and heat-discolored spots irritated me every time I walked up to the car. I had to do something.
Did some research, found that Rustoleum made high temp paint made just for exhausts. Picked up some at Home Depot and followed the directions (spray, let dry, idle car for 10 mins, 20 min cooldown, idle for 20 mins, 20 min cooldown, drive car for 30 minutes, done). Results look great to me, paint didn't peel/crack/drip. The baking procedure was time consuming but hopefully allowed the paint to cure completely.
I wanted to share with you all in case someone else was thinking of doing this, I would highly recommend it.
