2005 ralliart coilover on a 2009 lancer gt

2005 ralliart coilover on a 2009 lancer gt

I was wondering if a set of coilovers from a 2005 ralliart would work on my 2009 lancer gt would I have to costomize them to fit I looked at there stats and everthing is the same

I know that there diffrent cars but I am sure some parts from the older one would fit the new one plus as I said all the numbers matched on the 2005 to the 2009 with the coilover makers specs witch makes me wounder if there is a difference I would think there would be like the difference of evo to regular headlights in 2009 it fits but not neatly with the gap on the bottom in 2005 I installed 2000 civic taillights on a 2004 civic that they said wouldn't work all I had to do is make a custom pigtail to hook up the lights perfect fit cost a full half hour and $10

Go a head and try it out.

This car is completely different, built on a different chasis. You're wanting to install coilovers on a car that weights a lot more then the previous genderation, with different weight distribution, spring rates, etc.\

You're car is relatively new, save a few hundred bucks and buy the correct parts and save the hassle. But hey, prove me wrong if you want.
