RA 48k maintenance Alberta

Hi everyone, I'm from Calgary Alberta, I have a 2010 ralliart which is getting close to 48k km. my dealer gave me a quote for the 48k maintenance to be around $1700. That is a lot of money for a regular maintenance. Just wondering how much did you guys pay for the maintenance, and also if anyone know a good place to get it done for cheaper. Thanks for the help guys!

Local dealership in a Vancouver suburb did mine for $450, which was cheaper than that $700 the other dealerships were quoting . No reason for anyone to be charging double that for such basic maintenance. Shop around because even if you have to drive 2 hours it'll be worth it.

we got hosed on it tooo......

the wife took it in, charged her 1700..... i know the fluid is what got her and than they said 500 for a turbo filter, it just seems snakey

Id love a PM stating what is actually necessary, i know it was nice to the transmission as the fluid come out burnt for sure, but man 1700 is more than my maintenance required for my truck in a year, and I take my truck up and down mountains beating the hell out of it 4x4'ing......

I hope I can help you but I did the maintenance myself. Just bought fluid online. Used the volkswagen/audi dsg fluid which is 3x cheaper than the diaqueen but same fluid with different dye used to it. Try to go to Canadian forum down below and post there. There's alot of ralliart and evo owners from calgary. They might be able to help u

A TURBO WHAT?!

sounds like you sure did get hosed, i'm presently on the fence of whether i'm gunna stick with oem fluid/filter... get SSP gold and re-useable filter... or go with the pentosin stuff

and i've only 7000km to decide... fml

Haha! turbo filter!

If u still have warranty, I would still use the diaqueen just to save my time and stress arguing to the dealership that the liquid is the same with pentosin.

The cost of driving to Winnipeg would almost negate the cost savings.
