Achieving 250-270 whp?
Ok so i am a complete noob. Have no idea what I'm doing even after reading all the stickies multiple times. I have a 2012 lancer ralliart and I'm looking for 250-270 whp. Since Ultimate racing has 20%off all product i would like to buy product from them. What exactly would i need to achieve this. Parts and tune. I was looking a Razorlabs ecu tune but they seem stuck at such low hp? Maybe I'm wrong. i really don't know. Thanks guys

Stock its 237 whp, so as someone else that is at stock and know nothing about tuning, is it really worth the $$ and effort for what might be as little as 13 hp more? Wouldn't a remap, and nothing else, get you there also?

Is it worth it?
Absolutely! For a $/HP ratio the GST basemap and the pill. Everything else is mod-madness that we agree on as further goodness.... (see my sig [rolls eyes])
Even my Lovely Bride would not let me go back - the car is so much more enjoyable now.

Can I expect my MPGs to drop like a rock there after? the way I dive I'm barely getting about 20-21 MPG.
You can just start with the tune. See here...

Under the "PART 1" bit (shopping list, downloads, etc).
You can drop the tune into a totally stock Ralliart, and it will vastly improve things.

Now, if you're planning on buying your own Tactrix cable, then the cost will be more like $200, but you don't even need to do that if you can find someone near you who will let you use their Tactrix cable to reflash the car. As far as gas mileage, the only thing that will make it go down is YOU mashing the right pedal more often because you're enjoying the new tune so muchThe bill??? For what??? You mean the cost of a $20 boost pill? That's pretty funny.....

Yeah I'll probably get my own Tactrix cable so I can flash to stock whenever it goes back to the dealer. $200 doesn't seem unreasonable.
I still have some reading to do, I don't understand what exactly the pill does, but if its only $20 then it's a no brainer.
So much to learn still...

Stock pill GST tune v3.0 is such a joy after the stock mits tune. Makes the most of the stock pill with awesomely improved shifting (thanks Rich
). Spend $15 - 20 for a pill, 20 mins of time (the first time anyways) installing and flashing and you have the best bang for buck hp improvement you'll ever get. The car steps up from fun to drive to several shades of awesome
And then the bug really bites

Oh, and re fuel economy. Put the pedal on the floor and yes, of course you'll drink your tank. However, for freeway cruising and general non spirited driving the GST tune is an average 1.1ltr/100kms better than the stock mits tune
