RA to Evo X help
RA to Evo X help
Hey guys, so I am looking into starting the part search to move my RA up to a little higher than Evo X standards, roughly between 320-350 whp. I am new to this so my numbers are just based off of slightly upgraded evo's that i have seen. feel free to enlighten me on what is realistic.
I am following the list from another page on what are the part differences.
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/09...arts-list.html
My question is where are good places to do the part shopping? I know it is best to find a used evo turbo probably through these forums, but for other parts it seems slightly harder to find good deals/ the right part.
also, does any one know a good company for email tuning?
Any advice on getting to my goal would be appreciated, this will be a long process.

i saw that and actually will probably get it to simplify things. i think i am also looking at a possible suspension upgrade seeing how i have alot of gravel back roads where i am. haven't decided if i want to make it more for off roading or not.
whats an opinion on the short ram intake? or is it better to go with performance intake and i believe that requires the smaller batteries correct?

So today my friend threw a question up in the air and i didn't give it too much thought until now.
how much power can the TC-SST take? considering thats what i have, is 350 whp even likely?

With your stock turbo, or even a stock EvoX turbo, you will NEVER have to worry about maxing out the capabilities of your transmission so long as you have a competent tuner
For the little extra expense involved, I'd strongly recommend it.
i'd recommend searching the evo x part out threads in the for sale section. there's a few people there selling evo x turbos for fairly cheap. i'm also in the search for the rest of the parts that the MAP evo x turbo swap kit doesn't have. but would anyone know if this would make the evo x turbo swap complete after i buy the kit and the missing pieces that's not provided?
alright so new questions have come up. what are other differences between a 2011 RA compared to any mr/gsr? it seems there are some differences between the year models. how much of these videos still hold true with the 2011 ralliart compared to the 09 one they show?
what else besides, turbo, manifold, o2 housing, downpipe, fmic, uicp, licp, intake, battery move, and obviously suspension(that'll come later) is different between the 2011 RA and i guess any year mr/gsr. im assuming exhaust (i know the downpipe is, does that include test pipe and muffler?)

short downpipe (not including O2 housing) and catalyst pipe are the same between the 2
exhaust differences are manifold, O2 housing off of the turbo, and after-cat exhaust piping
