Take care all, traded in the RA.

Well the day has come. The high maintenance cost, poor mpg, moody transmission and worrying about said transmissions reliability after warranty expiration, have forced me to sell. The RA was great fun, just not fun enough to supersede those items. New car: Veloster (non-turbo) with normal 6spd manual transmission. A LOT LESS Speed, but EQUALLY LESS WORRIES and thus far, 34 mpg combined. Good luck guys.
Cost-to-own: incredible upgrade
Plus, still handles great and is sporty enough, I.e., not boring.
No offense taken.

Enjoy. I was looking at them (Turbo Model) but they have the Turbo models marked up to 32k at the 2 Dealers near me.
I laughed at one salesman after he told me they wouldn't budge on them. Told him I'm sure some schmuck will pay it and wrote it off my list
Bought a 1.4t Sonic instead. Enjoy it def not a bad little car GF's BFF has a non-turbo in Black and it's quite nice inside.

Is that $32k USD?? Wow! Ridiculous... Here in Miami they go for $22k. I saw two of them at the dealership where I got my NA aspirated one.

Yeah I went for a ride in a Turbo Veloster the other day, I jumped in the back because I wanted to see what it was like with just the single door on one side.
Nice looking car and nice feeling in the interior. More cosy than cramped IMO, rear seats had good leg room for such a small car. Sunroof was pretty cool too

Yup I'm in the Northeast. They may have come down by now who knows this was Sept/Oct 2012 when I went looking.
Hell, never have I and never will I pay MSRP for a new vehicle let alone some adjusted market value markup.
Either way nice ride man I like it in white. Enjoy it
