Question on Transmission Fluid Change
Question on Transmission Fluid Change
So I purchased my 2011 RA with 70k miles on it. Is there any way to tell or find out if it has had the transmission fluid changed? The car shifts great and have never had any issues but it worries me a little that I might be at 75k miles without it ever having the transmission serviced. Thanks.
I take it the dealer or PO did not provide service records...
From forum experience performance changes are noticeable when fluid needs to be changed.
So, if you are like me - wait to do a change at 90K miles (next recommended 30K mile interval) unless it starts getting weird..
Or, if really conservative, change now and again at the next 30K mile interval...
The cost may guide your decision...

log into the Mitsubishi owners page and see if any service records or notes show up.
