New RA Owner Advice

Hello everyone!
I'm brand new to almost everything about these cars. I came from driving a 2001 Chevy Cavalier Z24 to my current '09 Ralliart. Gotta say I love the power the AWD and the overall feel of the car. Truth be told though I'm a little intimidated by all the bells, whistles and knowledge required to properly care for these cars. Unfortunately I had some good luck and had my serpentine belt shred itself while driving about a block away from my house. Had my temp warning flash for about 30 seconds to just barely squeak it to my driveway and shut it off right away. Should I be concerned about heat damage? (It's got 7 yr extended bumper to bumper warranty on it). When the car is turned on I can hear something that sounds like two clicks coming from my transmission...So far from what I've gathered from these forums is that it's apparently normal. When I go from a dead stop to acceleration I notice it drives as if I'm letting out a clutch slowly, not like a normal auto where you just go right away. Engine revs up and just like letting out a clutch it accelerates until it feels like its all the way out. Is this normal or is my transmission slipping?

Current Mod list:
AEM Airbox
HKS BOV
Magnaflow cat-back exhaust (Sounds real nice)

Pretty basic territory.
Any help Is greatly appreciated (and uh direct me if i posted in the wrong spot for this)

How many miles do you have? Do you know if it's had a transmission flush yet? Also does it have a tune? Because if you have any aftermarket intake it's required to have a tune (that's what I've read). And as for the clicks from the transmission that's normal for our cars.

It has just peaked over 66,000km. According to the service records when it was brought in it had all fluids replaced. Whether or not it was flushed is the question. The intake I'm not really sure about. Its not a CAI It's just a bigger airbox.

If it has that many miles the fluid in the transmission it should have been changed twice (every 30k miles it needs to be done).

The way it accelerates like as if it were a manual and letting a clutch out is normal. Our cars are an automatic in the sense that you don't have a clutch pedal and don't have to shift but in technical terms our car is not an automatic because it has dual clutches. That's the reason the transmission is called a TC-SST (Twin Clutch Sport Shift Transmission). The car has 1 gear engaged and the second clutch is always holding the next gear ready to engage it into place at the perfect time and it happens so fast and perfect that it is the reason that this transmission is known to be among the best. The Nissan GTR R35 uses a similar transmission using Twin Clutches and you use paddle shifters to change between gears. It's pretty cool to read up on and learn about!

The fluid was just changed at 65k. everything in Canada is in kilometers the odometer reads 66,000 km and in miles it would be roughly 42k miles.
