AEM Digital Boost Gauge Install Help
AEM Digital Boost Gauge Install Help
So I just picked up a ralliart and for my first mod I purchased an AEM Digital Boost Gauge...Never installed one before, but seems simple enough. However, when I went to install the sensor into the barb it wouldn't fit. The barb doesn't have any threads. Unless I'm completely installing it wrong...I'm stumped. Also does anyone have any pics on the best place to T into?

Sensor on the left, and barb on the right:

Here's a picture from an Evo install:

It looks like you got a defected fitting. Mine had threads. Weird that yours doesnt. Running down to a local hardware store, or hose/fitting specialty store, would prolly be your best bet. I put my T about 6-8 inches away from the mani on the bpv return hose. Also use a different t than what was supplied with my AEM gauge. I didnt like the small nylon/plastic fitting.

Hey I want to replace my T fitting that I have installed, do you know what size you got? I'm looking at these: http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...t_fittings.htm
I cant remember what size it is. I got it from a local hose/fitting shop for less than $5. Its stainless steel. I have always had bad luck with plastic/nylon T's cracking over time. Most local auto parts stores and specialty fitting places will have a vast amount of fittings in different types of materials. I try to always buy local so im not waiting on my item to arrive.
