Ralliart 2011 (newbie)

Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum but I've had my ralliart for 8 months. So far I have not done much to it:

-Whiteline 24mm rear sway bar
-Evo x gsr rims
-evo 8/9 wing
-stoptech front rotors and pads

As for future mods, I'm looking for mods that wont void my factory warranty (5 years). So I guess i wont be touching much under the hood for a while but I do want to improve handling first. My list for the near future (hopefully):

-KW v2 coils
-Stoptech bbk
-magnaflow catback

Comments and suggestions welcomed

Welcome! I love the GSR rims on Lancers. I had some on my GTS and am debating putting them on my RA SB. I have the same cat-back as you actually haha. Post up some pics with that Evo VIII Spoiler!

Awesome! I love how the gsr rims look too. I haven't gotten the catback yet, it's on my wish list lol How does it sound? I've only heard the exhaust note on youtube and I know that doesn't really do it justice. I'll put up a more recent picture soon!

oh whoops haha. I read through the list and didn't realize there was a wish section haha. It sounds pretty good. I feel like it's a really good mix because it's not too loud by any means but it still sounds pretty aggressive. I like it. I really like the ultimate-racing though so I'm not sure what I'm gonna do haha. The Magnaflow was from the original owner and I don't like the fact that I didn't pic it out I guess haha

so would you recommend 2 sets of tires and rims then? nicer summer and then maybe factory winter? I'll be getting mine in a few days and this is just one thought after poking around these threads and those rims look sharp!

Just get a good set of all-seasons unless you're planning on racing..

Bridgestone RE970as's are what I recommend

Looking good man! I've been looking for a set of Evo X GSR rims but have only found them for 2k a set! =(

You should be able to do some more simple mods without voiding the warranty;
-AEM/K&N Intake filter will make you induction sound soo much better
-BoV if its legal/you want some choo choo
-A Catback Exhaust should not void your warranty unless it directly causes damage to a factory component
-Larger FMIC with pipework
-Check out some of the other mods in the forum =P

Keep us informed =D

Yeah that's my plan, gsr rims with summer tires and stock rims with winters since I started going to the track once in a while. A good set of all season tires are manageable in the winter but you can't go wrong with the extra grip you get with winter tires

Damn, 2k a set? You should look around on evom, some vendors specialize in selling used parts so someone should have something there. I got mine from evotuners.net.

I plan to get the catback next since the stock exhaust is so quiet. Needs to sound a little more aggressive
