I honestly do not know anything when it comes to stuff under the hood and what makes what do what <--- Lol.

Let's say for $1500 what is the best things to get?

i'm looking for performance not exterior mods

An upgraded intercooler and piping, exhaust, and a tune will take up that $1500 easily but are all important. You'll prob want a boost control solenoid as well and an intake wont hurt.
