Hey guys. I just moved to Florida from Kansas and have been having problems with my car, major loss of power. Could this be due to the elevation? I have a couple 3rd gear pulls logged. Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on my situation so i can begin fixing the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated!

 

Check plugs and compression/leak down

 

will be performing this today...my fingers are crossed....didnt think it was a mechanical issue :/

 

Ok so pulled the plugs and this is what they look like. White-ish grey on 3 of them...compression test results are in order from cylinder 1-4
152-152-148-150. All looks good there. Maybe something is leaking under boost. Checking that next i suppose would be the best idea?

3 had white/gray - what did the other one have? (i can't see the image) This is where i would focus.

 

It does seem to be a little odd that 1 of the 4 plugs is a totally different color than the other 3. Could it be significant? I can't say one way or another, but maybe someone with more mechanical expertise could weigh in here or you could find someone who would know if the way the plugs look is anything to worry about and ask them directly.
