My wife tells me that I have OCD when I do certain things so it gave me the idea to ask if I'm alone or do you all have some weird habits with your RA for no real reason except that you love your car?


1. I park further away, backing in to spaces if available.
2. I always turn my heat or AC to the OFF position before turning the ignition off. (No clue why I do this, it just feels right)
3. If going out with friends, we take my RA. I don't care who drives, just as long as we are all 4 in a Ralliart and not an Accord, Pathfinder, etc. : )

 

1) I park or try to park, in a way such as to "show off" my car. Especially in the work parking lot... lol
2) I do the same thing with the Heat and A/C. I always turn IT off before I turn the car off.
3) I dont let anyone drive my car. Ever. Unless absolutely necessary. And when me and friends are going out, I always suggest that I drive because, lets face it, these cars are just fun to drive!
4) When ever I get out of my car and start walking away, I ALWAYS look back at it. Not really sure about this one or how it started, but I cant seem to NOT do it. I have no idea... I guess I'm always thinking and pondering about how the car looks and how I can improve its styling/stance...

I'm sure there's a couple more, but they aren't coming to mind at the moment.

 

Count me in for the looking back when leaving it. Every time. Although they say if you don't you probably bought the wrong car, so....

When getting to my car in the morning, I tend to take the long way around to the drivers door so I can examine all sides of her :/

 

Dude I do the same thing! Especially the first two!

1. I park further away too so people wont ding my sides.
2. Turn the AC to off position before turning the ignition off ( for some reason i think that doing this way i make sure that there is enough juice to start the car next time, i know weird lol)
3. Also before turning the ignition off I do a quick tap rev (charge the battery)

 

Me? All of the above (except 'tap rev')...

I get up early so I can have that sweet parking spot...

I park next to scubies or other Mitsu (if it doesn't violate rules 1-8 (above))

 

4. Religiously keep my car clean. In the warm months, ill be out washing it by hand twice a week, but i'll only cut my grass when it "needs" it. My neighbors probably hate me.

 

They say if you don't look back at your car you didn't buy the right one. I always look back and admire the Beauty of my rally!!

 

Never thought about it, but I always look at mine as I walk away as well. The only time I don't is when I know someone is waching me and I will look weird lol!

 

In parking garages i try to find the single spots between pillars or corners. If none are found I go to the next level, repeat.



When in a restraunt, I try to get a window spot so i can keep an eye on my baby.
