Question About Ralliart's Future

So haven't been able to find a answer about this but, I know today Mitsubishi announces they will discontinue the EVO's does that include the Ralliart's also? I see their trying to get away from performance gas sucking cars and given how similar the RA and MR's are seems to fit that both would go. Does anyone know?

I have yet to see any news regarding specifically the RA but it would only make sense really...
They will prob axe the RA complete and just produce a hybrid Evo

I am okay with Renault if they design it but if we get more of the Nissan side...

Damn.....

My goal was to one day buy an evo. ( new). Love my ralliart but the always wanted a brand new evo.

Looks like now might be the time to seriously start looking. I can only imagine the value of the evo ( and probably the ralliart) will go up once they are discontinued.

When I think of how much more Evo's cost, I assure myself the RA was the right decision. Now that both may be discontinued, I may look for an Evo just to say I had one back before they stopped being produced. (Always proud of my 1993 3000GT VR-4)

I agree. I'm originally from Europe and really miss seeing French cars on the road since they make some pretty good quirky stuff.

Got info that was posted by MMNA that evo will be coming out July 2014 for North America only. Nothing about ralliart.

Interesting... Keeping the one thing they want to stop making in a market they almost tanked in... Well at least they still have those sales from the guys who don't want a STI

I wonder how the evo will hold its value once discontinued.

I think the value will stay up for evo but ralliart will probably drop. Nada urs now see what's it worth. Bottom has dropped out of ralliarts

I bought my RA used in 2010 for $21,000 with 15k miles. I now have 110k miles and its worth $14,200 (nada - private party). I wouldn't consider the bottom dropping out on RA's. Its typical depreciation.

Exactly the same news as last year. "Oh the 2014 will be the last year FOR SURE! Evo X batch announced." Then the Ralliarts showed up at the same time. This year will be the same, I'm sure: "Actually 2015 will be the last year for the Evo X. THIS TIME FOR REAL!! Oh, how would you like some more Ralliarts too?". For the record even the 2012-2013 models were supposed to be "the last batch". And yet I've had my 2012 for 2 years and they keep sending more.
