Thats ~$861 USD a month. Damn. I think you should work on lowering your payments and getting better credit first.

well my truck is 55 k truck that I got for 38 ( I sold for Chrysler ) with negative I ended up paying 46 all in for my truck at 6.49% interest .. this car is 33900 they will give me 39000 for my truck ( which is fair ) that gives me a total of 40k financing but I can only get approved at 9.9-10.9 % interest that's the ****ty part.. I mean im not paying more to get into the car it works out to be the same TBH I just don't know if I should do it or not ..

33 is to high to pay for a used ralliart.
I paid 32k for a fresh of the boat new with touring package.

You need to haggle that price down under 30k before even thinking about a deal.

Here is a red 2013 with 5k miles at southcoast for 25k. the touring package was 3k so it should be priced around 28-30k.

Another touring package RA with 21k miles is 28k

Hey Vanduzer no need to be like that im a big fan of this forum and the cars and im just asking for advice not to be mocked or made fun of ... And this is a Ralliart with premium package and here in Canada they are going for 37-38 brand new so this one with 5k on it for 33900 actually isn't that bad of a price

I should have looked where you are from. Canada, yeah you guys get heated Recaros. So all the prices your talking about are in Canadian Dollars, prices make sense now.

If dealerships have made you think in terms of monthly payments, they have basically suckered you into playing their favorite game.

First of all, 10% interest rate is INSANE. Nobody in their right mind would pay this much. Mitsubishi actually has really reasonable rates on brand new cars in Canada (1-2% tops even for really long 84 month financing), so paying an extra 7-8 thousand dollars interest for financing a used car is basically throwing your money in the dumpster. On top of the huge profit the dealership will make on your trade-in, they will make tons on the sale and even more on the ridiculous financing rates.

When you are buying a car, you shouldn't look at the payments at all before you have reached a reasonable agreement with the dealer on the actual price of the car. Then you should really get them to work much harder on that financing. Or even better - sell your truck privately first. In any case, buying a brand new loaded 2014 Ralliart with the 1-2% interest rates that Mitsubishi offers will cost you just about the same as the used price of the 2013 you are looking at with the huge interest rate.

As far as the car itself, it is still very good despite the model's age, though if you're looking at a new or almost new one, I'd say the new 2015 WRX might actually be a better option right now. Subaru have really upped the game with that car, including on the Canadian pricing which is way better than the Ralliart's at the moment. Definitely worth test driving one.

Mitsubishi will do for a new RA
0.9% for 60
1.9% for 72
2.9% for 84

I understand that I'm a car salesman lol I have been for three years ...I appreciate you caring enough to tell me that tho very awesome of you looking out for people I respect that... The reason the interest is so high his cause of my credit ..not the dealerships kinda my own...but from what people are saying hold off a bit I think I will unless they get me down to 5.9%

thanks a lot for your input guys really appreciate it . I'll just have to drool over your guys lancers for now ..
