so when in each mode does anyone know the % of which way more f the power goes when I snow, ashalt and gravel modes? sorry if its been discussed before but I didn't se anything when I looked
^ Yes. The car has to 'open' the front axles so they can turn at a different speed than the rears. That is why 4whl trucks front tires will 'scrub' turning on the pavement if the front differentials are 'locked'. Off road the front tires can 'slip' or slide a little sideways (they still' scrub' you just don't care).
So, the ACD 'unlocks' the front axles the soonest on Tarmac (sense steering wheel angle input) and waits longest on Snow to keep the 'most' all wheel traction available based on how much the front tires can scrub without stressing the suspension or losing traction.
