I suggest you go on YouTube and listen to sound clips of both and then decide.

I have bought a couple of ultimate racing parts before they are good quality but look a little rough there exhaust sounds really nice the also offer more options like extra mufflers/ different tips Cpe is really nice too I would just go with which one you like the best

UR and CPE are two of the loudest aftermarket exhaust systems available for our cars. Both are probably not the optimum choice if you're sensitive to drone/noise levels (even optioned up with extra resonators available from each company).

a little off topic...so if you wanted the loudest system which is preferred? id prefer to go straight pipe but rather go with a legit system so i dont loose any back pressure.

I love the sound of the CPE exhaust and that will be my choice to replace the magnaflow... If you're worried about it being too loud buy the mid pipe with the mini muffler or resonator I know UR offers their pieces with many options.

As for the sound difference for me it's the up and down shifts where the CPE has that crackle like the new Jag F-type I love that noise

I had the UR catback with both the resonated mid pipe and mini muffler. Wasn't really that much drone at all with that setup, and still had a nice sound. I've since taken the mini muffler off though and I think it's sounds just the right amount of glorious for me. Here's a bit of a driving sound clip. Obviously it'll sound more aggresive with a Test pipe or HFC though :P

thanks so much for the clip!!!really appreciate that. i had asked a guy who had UR catback without minimuffer or resonater, and he said it is too much drone. and after that he put a test pipe on, it is sooo aggressive and sexy, but it is too loud for me. lol

I have the UR down pipe and it is a well constructed solid piece. I would also look at the depo racing high 200 cell metal substrate flow cat as well.
