100 octane

Hey guys, i have a 2011 RA, im currently tuned with an ebcs on 91 oct. My question is would it be ok if i started filling up with 100oct instead of 91? Would i have to retune ? Would i see any positive results? Just a question i had. Thanks.

No benefit unless you tune for it.

It won't hurt at all. You won't get the full benefits without tuning for it but it'll be safe to run. I used to run 100 in my 2002 CBR1100XX streetbike/daily driver at the dragstrip back in the day as an added safety measure because I was running the bike so hard. Combustion temps will be lower and knock will not be an issue on the 100. Plus it smells soooooooooo good lol. just make sure it's UNLEADED 100. AFAIK 110 is leaded but 100 is usually unleaded. Just make sure.

Sure, if you enjoy flushing money down the drain. There is zero benefit from running 100 octane fuel on a car not tuned to run 100 octane.
