so I know the evo is being discontinued, but is the ralliart going to be discontinued as well? I am 19 and have a 2013 lancer GT. My dream is an evo but I cant afford it yet and with them being canceled I doubt I will be able to getting one. Ill settle for a ralliart, but if they is being canceled as well then I will just have to keep my GT and start modding that.
If someone could give me some info i would be very grateful. I am new to the lancer scene and to this forum.

 

Both Evo Xs and Ralliarts are being discontinued after the 2015 model year. If you can't afford them yet, just get one used later.
Modding a GT really won't get you all that far. There's no turbo, no AWC, basic transmission... Just isn't worth the money and effort.
In any case, Mitsubishi might be abandoning the Evo, but Subaru is still here and going stronger than ever with the new WRX & STI.

+1 on going the Subaru root if you insist on a new car. But a used Evo you could get for a solid price.

 

Yep, apparently the Evo is being revamped as a turbo diesel vehicle, and there's no news on any new editions to the ralliart trim
