From my research is appears the Transmission and the ACD pump are 2 of the biggest points of failure on the Ralliarts. Anything else that I don't know about that keeps you up at night?

 

Crap Fuel Relay Fuse and whatnot...

 

The trans is fine as long as you do the maintenance it requires. ACD pumps are a major problem but are now covered by Mitsubishi under warranty. My RA is 5 years old with 75,000 miles and the only issue Ive ran into is the ACD pump going out.

Though, I've changed relays to the SSP, and I've had maybe one or two start problems since. Other than that not right now, car only as 12k miles on it.

 

The AYC only gives problems if you drive in an area with snow and the eventual salt.

Relocate it to your trunk and you should be fine.

 

I've also had a couple start problems since replacing with the SSP relays.
