I have a 2015 lancer ralliart, and I am trying to get a good launch can any one help I don't want launch control. So what do I need my rpms to be b4 I launch..... my ralliart. Is at stage 1 and the fastest I've gotten it was 4.9 sec

 

I recently went back to the track after getting my tune done. The best way I find is to brake boost the car. Hold the brakes all the way, and with your other foot, rapidly tap the accelerator pedal, fast enough as not to engage forward motion. If you release the brakes while flooring the accelerator at the right time and RPM (im think around 3500-4K), you can get a good launch. I even managed to chirp my front tires twice which I never experienced before! (this was in Sport mode, Tarmac and TC on).

I'll have to give it a serious try next time, alone, with less gas and new summer performance tires.
