It appears that chilton does not have a repair manual, nor do any of the other publishers of repair manuals. I am trying to do my brakes front and rear and need torque specs for caliper bolts, caliper bracket boltz and wheel nuts. I was able to get the front torque specs for caliper bracket and caliper bolts from another post but not the rear.
My car falls out of warranty soon and I would like the manual.
I have read several posts that the only way to get it is from Mitsubishi for $150. Four books or something like that. Are they kidding me???? Anybody have any better info on this? There must be a better way to get the info. Does alldata have it? Has anyone here bought a subscription? Do the Evo guys have the same issue? Sometimes Mitsu makes it hard for me to want to buy cars from them.....

 

While I am at it, does anyone on here have an aftermarket warranty that covers the SST gearbox?
What did you pay?
Have you had a claim against the SST covered successfully?

I have heard that a warranty backed by Fidelity is one of the best ones to get but I do not have any personal experience

 

Tighten the wheel nuts to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 98 ± 10 N·m (73 ± 7 ft-lb)
