Hi all

I'm about to purchase the ralliart GS lancer sportback and was searching for any common problems and service schedule IE timing get chain etc.

Your advice would be greatly appreciated

2011 is slightly preferred (newer style tranny "3 drain holes versus 2" indicates a slightly better version.


But, 2010 is fine. I have over 100K miles - no worries.
I did have a corrosion problem with the active center differential pump assy.
I did replace the fuel pressure relay and clamped the FPR vacuum hose at the manifold.
I did have a few sporadic TC-SST (tranny) codes that would reset and have not re-appeared.
Pretty much only 2009 RA had timing chain stretch. The chain was redesigned (beefier) by 2010 IIRC.


I would buy the car again!
