Cat OR turbo back?

In reading some of the posts I'm getting conflicting info. I'm in the market for an exhaust system for my 2011 Ralliart and was curious if the additional price of the full turbo back with high flow cat is worth it?

I ordered the boost pill and openport flash cable and plan to follow this ->

It's a daily driver so I don't want it to be crazy loud but if the high flow cat is only a few hundred more but adds substantial power maybe it's worth it?

Consider - the Cat is the biggest restriction in the exhaust. By far.

Since you are contemplating the turbo-back, you would not want to go from a 3" downpipe to a 2 1/2" cat back to a 3" exhaust and muffler...
So yeah, a 3" high flow cat is an imperative for a turbo back (IMHO).

So it is not "cat or turbo back" but really, "turbo back or cat back system" question.

There are many threads on exhaust systems to answer "if too loud" questions (which is very subjective)...

I have a cat back exhaust and want to remove it. I'm told I will need a tune if I do remove it and replace it with a test pipe. For now I'm holding off.

Catback won't need a tune. Once you get rid of the OEM cat for something else thats when tunes are needed

I'm liking the TurboXS TBE (http://turboxs.com/shop/67-exhaust) but not finding a good price anywhere. Ideas on where to look?
