Need Help Please !!-

Having problems with alternator charging battery ,
i replaced fusible link and altenator and still not charging battery . i checked the wire going from the battery to the altenator and it has jucie so idk what to do now got a ticket thish morning cuz i cant move the car battery dead from not charging

Jump start the car so you can move it and then while its running check the alternator output with a voltmeter. It should be reading between 14 to 14.4 volts. If not then your alternator is bad and needs replacing.

Have you verified that your battery is still good? Batteries are usually only good for about 5 years. Check your voltage also with a multimeter from the alternator

Take the battery out to your local AutoPart and let them check it out.
Batteries are mostly the ones that go out.

If you already did it. Then take the Alternator out and take it to the autopart. They have machines that check it out.

Both tests are free in most auto part stores.
