Need immediate help on spring install, please please

Hey, guys,
sorry, I think this may fall in the suspension forum.
But I think general forum has more traffic and I really need to solver this issue asap.
Please forgive me.

I am trying to install swift spec-r for my evo.
Passenger side front shock is done without much problem,
however, driver side rotor assembly doesn't return to the position where it can hook up with the shock.
Here is a video and a picture to show what I mean.
Please help me to solve this.
The car is my DD.... I really wanna make sure I solve this asap.
Thanks for you guys help.

It feels like the bottom cv boot is dragging the rotor assembly into the engine side.
and I don't know how to make it release that tension.

Just put these on my car two weeks ago. Make sure the swift logo on the spring is facing outward (must be straight and not on an angle). if it isn't the springs aren't seated right. pm me if you need pics... I'll be around for much of the afternoon today.

Could also be that the strut wasn't bolted to the top of the strut tower properly.

It's possible that you pulled the knuckle too far out and the inboard cv joint of the axle came apart. Feel the inboard cv boot and see if you can feel the rollers inside.

GOt this solved...
How do you torque the rear shock top nut ? the nut moves with the shaft...tried impact wrench and regular wrench.. nothing works.

The top nut can be torqued once you have the strut attached to the strut tower with the three bolts.

Cant do this method for the rears though, an impact wrench worked for me on those.

You should drop the top hat also and assemble the top hat to and strut before installing it. Use a jack lift underneath to push the strut up until the 3 top hat bolts are aligned then tighten up the nuts.
