NEED IMMEDIATE help

in some previous posts i discussed the o2 sensor bung from the ultimate racing test pipe rubbin driveshaft when it was WET out. Well here in the northeast we got hit with SNOW/RAIN/SLEET..basically complete mush. well on the way home tonight from work the rubbin got REALLY bad...i mean really bad. Then all of sudden....o2 sensor code. P138 and P141. So i assume from the constant hittin the driveshaft. So i look under the car tonight i seems like the entire exhaust is alot closer to the driveshaft than normal. And it also looks like the exhaust is not straight.

Did you run over any big piles of snow or anything like that? It does look like it is pulling on the exhaust hangers. Disco the negative and reset the ecu, it should go away. unless the 02 sensor is damaged from the banging around . Do you see or feel any dents in the exhaust ? Hard to make out in the first pic.

Ah you can see the gash ,well sratch where it was hitting. That is a close fitment . Im running kartboys exhaust hangers, I would highly recommend them. They will keep your ehxaust very tight . My buschur turboback had some rattles till I did this and now I dont hear a things. Have you tried to reset the ecu now that you know what the codes are?

same thing happened to me, I already went through 1 o2 sensor, now i get an occaisional code from the second. I don't know how to fix it. It happened to me when it was wet out also. The only thing I could do to fix it was buy a new sensor.

yeah, i got the new sensor from summitracing. I too am thinking about the high flow cat, then the test pipe for track days.

i think another memeber had the same problem as us, I told him to get a new sensor from summit also.

The kartboy hangers are polyurethene and are very firm so it keeps your exhaust very snug. no movement

Al its definitely from water somehow, I had the same exact problem, if you don't remember it was right after i got your through the mail flash. I don't know if the o2 sensor hitting anything was the problem, I just thought that the o2 sensor wasn't sealing around the o2 bung, so i used some gasket sealer.
