SST Wear Normal vs Sport

Hi All, Newbie here

I have been reading around and watching a couple of videos (Please point me in the right direction if this has been answered previously) but

With the SST transmission in the Ralliart, does driving in Normal Mode lead to more wear in the transmission? I have heard that you should drive it in Sport Mode but my car hanging onto a higher RPM really gets on my nerves especially in stop and start traffic. I understand you can just run it in manual mode but if I’m absolutely, 100% extra lazy. Am I actively hurting my transmission by running it in Normal?

Thanks to any and every reply!

You're not actively hurting it in normal, but there is less wear running it in sport mode.

If you like my wife and don't want to manually shift then Normal is probably going to be better for you. I find the shift points for auto sport are just a little bit annoying for DD.

Would be nice if the RA had three modes, Normal, Sport and Ssport. The current implementation of Sport makes it useless in everyday driving as it's just revving ridiculously high before shifting. Something between normal and sport could be useful.

You can flash a RA to use three modes Normal/Sport/S-Sport

The people that work on upgrading the SST recommend to use S-Sport as long as possible to extend the life of the clutch as long as possible.
Look at the link I posted above.

I wouldn't drive around town with anything different than normal auto. The other modes (Sport/S-Sport) I suggest to use manual shifting. That way you control how high it revs between shifts.
