I had to take my car to get fixed due to my cousin hitting my driver door when backing out of the drive (I was parked on the street). I got the car back and every time I opened the driver door with my key on me, the alarm went off as if I was breaking into it. I realized that the door was not locking. The touch unlock on the door handle works sometimes then doesn’t work other times. When I start the car, it constantly says “Steering Wheel Lock” and acts as if the key is not on me, but the car still starts and runs normal. So I’m curious what to do from this point. Does it just need to be reprogrammed or is it possible something is wrong with the key itself?

 

I'm not sure where the FAST key sensor is but it might have been in the original door that probably needed to be swapped over? I'd take it to the dealer to have the system checked out.
