Hello, earlier I was driving to Target and after I got out and hoping to drive home, I couldn’t get my ralliart to shift from P to D. This had happened a few times but today took much longer to shift. I stop, restart car few times. Step on brake really hard and then it finally work. Can someone please advise if this is a major concern or easy fix please?

First thing I would advise is to pull codes. (you can post them here)
2nd do a re-teach on the SST transmission.

If the oil has not been changed for a while in the SST, also get that changed with the outboard filter. (re-teach after)

 

Sorry but what exactly is “re-teach” mean?

 

You can google that and look it up in this forum, mentioned all over the place and in TSB's as well. Requires a MUTIII (expensive Mitsu tool) or Tactrix cable (cheap aftermarket) and some files/configuration.
