09 Ralliart Werid pulsating vibration
Hi All,
I'm new here. Been a long time lurker and decided today was the day to register and make a post.
Hope someone has come across this issue before and has a solution. TIA.
I have searched many threads, many YT videos, and none of those is what i am experiencing.
Car is RHD
235,000Km / 146k miles
full service history and log book filled to the last page.
Issue:
So while driving my RA in a straight line all is well, as soon as i turn left slightly there is a weirdpulsing knocking vibration in the floor pan (please note i have not touched the brakes at all.) starts at about 30km/h, it's a constant pulse knock and doesn't increase with speed at least i don't think it does it very well could, the pulse knock is there only when turning left, There is no vibration in the steering wheel either.
further checks/tests:
pulled the front wheels off, and i can twist the tie rod ends without too much force, everything else looks solid
noise is still there when turning in Neutral (driving).
the shocks/struts are factory
While stationary, hand brake on and car in Drive, the noise isn't there turning the steering wheel wont make it happen either.
I have got my cv joints/axles rebuilt, just in case. Turns out right boot was ripped. (it was happening before)
i got brand new Bridgestone RE003's, balanced and aligned.
I have no idea if it happens in reverse, or how to test it without j-turning or doing a 180, not sure if it's a good idea in an AWD. (i'll avoid testing reverse)
mods to the car are :
10 plate SST Clutch upgrade and all the other things like forks and improved magnet etc. (burger with the lot)
boost pill
3" dump back
stock turbo 27psi (daily)on 98 octane gas/petrol
Evo X BBS wheels with RE003 tires.
known issues that need attending to
rear radius arm bushings
rear engine mount
pads and rotors (not warped, EOL)
i ordered bearings for the front wheels in case that could be the issue, there is no ABS light and i have tried the 12 & 6 shake and 3 & 9 shake on the wheels and there was no play.
if anyone know what this could be please let me know before i end up replacing everything in the driveline.
Thanks in advance.

Upper strut bearing, inner or outer tie rod ends, lower ball joint.
Jack up one front wheel leave the other on the ground. Place hands on 3 and 9 pm position and try to rock tire left and right. Any noise or play means tie rod ends.
Now grab 12 and 6 and try to rock the tire from the top and bottom in and out. Any movement means bad ball joint, strut mount, or upper strut bearing.
Lower that wheel and check the other side.
Tire rod ends should be almost impossible to turn by hand and if removed from the knuckle they should hold their position and not fall down. If you can grab the tie rod at the knuckle and twist it, it is likely bad.
