D2 Sport Leaking Shocks - Lancer X Ralliart - No Guarantee/Claim
Hello everyone,
I'm making this post to warn everyone about D2 Racing shocks.
I bought 4 shocks for 1450 USD. After they were installed by their local dealer in Egypt (Xtreme Garage - Karim Darwish in 6th of October) before hitting the 1k miles I discovered the left rear shock was leaking.
Ofc they didn't admit it and I had to go to their shop more than 4 times....the first time they just cleaned the oil and told me to come back after 2 weeks to recheck..then when I went back they confirmed leakage but they need the barcode number on the box, I did as they requested and sent them all the details. Then they told me you need to come over to remove the shocks entirely and send a video to D2 themselves which I did as well, al this while the technicians themselves confirmed a leaking shock with very low compression. This has been going on for more than 3 months, driving around in a unstable and unpredictable ride.
Now they are requesting me to visit their shop once again to retake the video....at this point they are just wasting my time.
I actually offered to pay for a repair kit as I have a family and the car's behavior is un-safe, they replied that they don't offer repair kits for their shocks.
This is a horrible experience with Xtreme Garage - Karim Darwish and D2 Racing.
Avoid their shocks at any cost cause if you got unlucky and one had a defect they will not stand by their products.
This is a safety item and the manufacturer is not fit to manufacture such products.
