im getting the tein s tech springs but im not installing them till after winter...has anyone heard anything about them?

Nope i haven't heard anything but i know the drop is low as hell.

i had tein send me pix the drop doesnt look to low at all its 2.2 in the front 1.8 in the back

trust they will drop low as hell like 2.2 all around after a few months

That's a bit low for my taste. If I was to run 17's maybe but 2.2 drop is really low

i also had a long convo with tein ...they said that that drop will not affect my shocks or my struts

By all means get them. But any drop on stock struts will affect them over time. It might not be a drastic difference between 1.5 and 2.2 but they will blow earlier than stock springs.

Type style tien springs are low! On all models they make the car really low.

question...so the past couple of days its been really cold. i have the rrm springs. when im turning the wheel i hear like a crunching noise..can it possibly be the springs? its only when im turning the wheel though. driving wise it rides fine no noises. any thoughts would be appreciated...

i hear it too.. nothing to worry about, its just stiffness.

and its ALOT colder here then in texas haha.

hmm theres gotta be a way to fix that sound. I was going to do these springs after winter. but i'm having second thoughts now. crunching sounds normal??? telling my wife that crunching sound is normal ain't gonna fly

Yeah I was planning on getting these eventually too, but this noise seems to be pretty common from what I've read!

Our RG Ralliart made this sound with the RRM springs. We are returning the car to stock so I removed them and the sound is gone. I'll be installing these springs on my OB Ralliart when I pick up wheels for it. I expect the noise to appear on my car as well.
