Hey guys. I have a buddy trying to sell his X. He is giving me first dibs on most of his parts, since he wants to return the car back to stock. My question is this: Will stock Evo X struts fit on the '09 Ralliart? He has the Works lowering springs and he is willing to sell me his stock struts to go with them, since the Evo X and RA struts differ. I am a newb at this stuff and I know nothing about suspension.

I was hoping even maybe vendors/mechanics/shops would be willing to look into this, because if this system does work like this, this is potentially a big selling point for vendors and shops for Ralliart customers. Let me know what you all think. I will post this in the Ralliart section, too. Thanks.

 

the x struts will definitely not work.

i do not believe it would worth it to "make" them work..

....by altering either the RA suspension or the x struts.

you would have better luck trying to use evo 9 struts.

 

Nope, won't work, the hubs are different and I suspect the mounting up top will be different, although that may only be true of the rear. I doubt Evo 9 stuff would work either since the RA has the GTS suspension setup.

 

Ok cool guys. I figured this. I won't fabricate or alter any parts to make them work. I appreciate the info!
