brake bleed order?
brake bleed order?
Anyone know the order to bleed the brakes as per the service manual?
Have the AMS SS brake lines coming and want to do the install myself but can't find the order to do it anywhere.
TIA

1st rear passenger side
2nd rear driver side
3rd front passenger side
4th front Driver side
good rule of thumbs
also dont drain all the brake fluid out

Is that the right order as per mitsu or just the 'standard' order? The brake bleed order I've seen for other mitsu cars is usually an alternating diagonal pattern.
the evo 8 pattern is:
1. Passenger's side rear outside nipple
2. Passenger's side rear inside nipple
3. Driver's side front outside nipple
4. Driver's side front inside nipple
5. Driver's side rear outside nipple
6. Driver's side rear inside nipple
7. Passenger's side front outside nipple
8. Passenger's side front inside nipple
the evo x pattern is:
driver rear, passenger front, passenger rear, driver front
I'm using this guide:

i usually bleed the furthest side to the master cylinder first
so if the cylinder is in the left side of the engine bay
my order will be R/R > L/R > R/F > L/F
make sure only bleed to the min every time so air wont get in
n dont over tight the bleeder srew!!

Honestly with ABS, I don't think order matters as much. If your just doing stainless lines, you probably only got air in the last few feet of each line and it will take only a few pumps per corner to finish up.
