take some pics mark, i was considering 17s.
cosis: i live in baltimore city which means potholes every 5 feet, so as much as i would like to do something like that, i have to mod the car based on my environment. the snow storms we had over the winter really tore up the roads around here and they were already pretty bad to begin with. currently i'm contemplating getting some nice coilovers, but as bumpy as the roads are here, i might just wait till the stock ones give out.

Keep in mind zdmitrix i live in northern canada. We have the same pot hole issues, and winters storms that make the north pole look seasonal.
Most of us have to take that chance with wheels. And yes running 19's on 35's makes that chance even greater. I dont see myself doing it, i think im swaying towards work emotions, or volk t37's . Ill just pay more money to be happy i guess.

the volks are pretty pricey (tirerack lists them at 500 per wheel) although they are forged. the enkei's were similar in weight and under 300, making them the best option to me.

xdmitrix they look pretty good. I'm glad to see that somebody finally got some rpf1's that weren't black EVERY Evo I have seen with them are black. I've never been a fan of the rpf1 because IMO the design makes them look really small on our car. At first glance I thought yours were 16's or 17's at first lol. They seem to be super popular with the Evo guys though so I must be the only one thats not a huge fan

thanks - i went with silver mostly because tirerack has the black on backorder for another month. instead of blacking out the trim in plastidip like everyone else here i decided to take advantage of it and just go with a silver/black scheme.
my next project is coilovers - i'm still recuperating from the giant wad of cash i just spent on top of the rims i had to spend 90 just to get the tire sensors recalibrated at the dealer!!!! ridiculous!!
the ride quality is pretty awesome now.... quicker braking, quicker acceleration esp in the low end, seems like there is a lot less effort in keeping high speeds. the car just brushes off bumps in the road now and it seems like the stock suspension is a lot tighter to react now.
