sorry about the delay,, We will not be continuing with this project due to StopTech releasing their 4-piston brake upgrade for the R/A. It's about 1K cheaper to get the StopTech package.

I'm guessing he meant for brand new evox brakes.
I was curious after reading this, and since (like chindian) I also work for a dealership, based on our pricing for the oem brakes it would be cheaper just to do the stoptech setup, even at employee pricing.

Didnt know making brackets were somehow sooooo expensive. I mean if it is such an expensive thing to do, just sell the brackets and tell people to supply there own evo x brembos. Just dont see why thats so hard to do. Main reason why the ralliart is behind in after market things compared to the overmainstreamed evo x.

DAMN! I saw a nice used set, front and rear, for $1K. I WAS going to buy them and get these infamous brackets. But for what $100, it's OBVIOUSLY prohibitively expensive to make a set of brackets <sarcasm>
Once again we are forced to spend $4K for a full set-up... rather take an extra 1000 ft stop for that price.

Having talked to chindian about why, and i think i already posted this, but the main reason they ARENT going to make and or sell the brackets is because even with them you require grinding down the caliper which can have some serious liability with it.

yeah, the grinding of the calipers was mentioned earlier in this thread, and I agree that's too big of a liability for any company to take on. So, I don't blame them for not making them.

Unfortunately it can't be done safely (w/o costing a lot). The holes overlap one another in such way that everything would need to be shifted WAY over (not very safe for something critical like brakes). If they bolt holes were offset MORE, it wouldn't be such a pain
