Coilovers selection

Looking to buy coilovers for the spring time...my 2 choices are BC Racing coilovers and KW V2's.

Is there any other better ones out there or are in progress?

BC and Megan are both supposedly manufactured by APEXi
D2 and K-Sport are manufactured by the same factory as one another (not the same one as BC/Megan)
Tein makes their own
JIC makes their own
KW makes their own

if i had to choose, i would definitely say that KW is the most you'll get for your dollar, though they are on the pricey side when compared to some other options. If you're looking in the 1000ish dollar range, BC or D2

manufacture by Apex'i? any reference?

Tein has a "Basic" damper kit around 1k and a "Mono Flex" for around 1600.

sorry, i was a bit mixed up. it would appear that bc-racing (bor-chuann) is the manufacturer here making different grade products for their own brand as well as megan and apexi.

here's the company's main page so you can do some digging deeper within their line:
http://www.bcec.com.tw/

here's a great link comparing the bc's with megan's, which also verifies that both are manufactured in the bc plant.

So we need the "RAM" inverted style for our cars?

Thanks for the link! especially the comparison..
I know Megan and BC are both manufactured by BC.. and i know BC is a taiwanese company.

If you want options, there are also Racing Logic and Cusco too
I really think we have a lot of option for Coilover already..

Summary:
Megan
BC
Tein Basic and Flex *corrected ;D*
Cusco Type I and Type II
Racing Logic
KW
D2
K-Sports
JIC?

Wow. Didn't realize we had that many options. Last time I checked, like last year, it was just Tein and BC. Glad we have more options now.

not required, but for the extra 200 bucks, its very highly recommended to just get the better set if you're already spending 1k anyways
