not the first to try but the first to commit to it.... you will be the doing alot of fender work pulling the rears like 20mm and the fronts will need to be pulled about 10mm and either cut the fender liner or removed and neg camber about -3.0 rears and -3.5 fronts and coilovers with custom springs to help out with the neg camber... and stretch tires like 225/40-18...

it has been done... i had 18x10 +15 offset with 225/40-18 for a tester it was nice for stance but i would had to pull the rear fenders another 10mm making it 20mm pull total for it to drive with out rubbing

good luck man!!

my next plans are doing 18x10 + 15 with some custom rear camber arms

I think I'm too old to understand why a stretched tire is cool. It boggles my mind. I tend to like to put tires that are fairly wide on my rims, but I always stay within the tire's recommended rim width. As long as the tires don't overhang the rims and cause stability issues, I go for the largest contact patch possible. Why stretch? What does it do? I don't understand. I'm 27, am I past my prime?

RA dont need a big wheels it needs a lighter forged wheels that hold up wider tires. +20 is very aggressive and for sure it will rub. Anyways good luck hope everything will work out for your project...

dude this is gonna be sick set up if it gets done right.....

hey westbound and down,

there alot of things in this world no one will every understand! but since you not into the stretch tire and slammed out life style.... stop giving bad info on the thread.... 225/40-18 indeed fits a 10 wide... no problem i already gave you a link to see for your self! i personally stretch some 275/40/18 on a 12" wide no problem... plus being low doesnt hurt anything if you do it right.... nor going wider with hurt anything either.... as you can see no one response to your meaningless post some time.... but im not hating... you do got some good post out there...

so you enjoy going fast and whatever else you do on your RA and i will go low and slow and rock my life style as i please....

yo andrewRA

What wheels did you get? if you dont want to publicly announce it PM me i can help get those on... no problem
