Lowering my RA

Been thinking of lowering my car for a while now but with the winter we just had I am wondering about how well the car will be able to drive through deep snow if it has been lowered?

I live in Canada so winter driving here can be brutal as is.

Does anyone here have any experience with this?

Get coilovers. Raise them in the winter, lower them in the summer.

IMO, winter driving in Toronto or the GTA isn't really that bad. Sure we get the odd snow storm that brings the snow level to our knees, but usually the roads are clear of the white stuff by the end of the day. You should have any worries unless you're out west or northern Ontario where they get the REAL Canadian winter.

I just drove through a terrible Midwest winter on the Eibach Pro-Kit and had no problems with ever getting stuck. Im also on Blizzaks so that helped alot. The only issue I had was because of being so low, at times I was basically a snow plow (I also have a front lip) but other than that never an issue.

Well.. just got my TEIN lowering springs installed today. I have to say, I just fell in love with my car all over again.
Thanks for the input.

Next is the catback.

Both of your cars look really good! I cant wait to roll my fenders, install my Teins, and get my summer wheels back on.

From my research, Swifts would be the best option if you want the right amount of drop. They also don't overwork your shocks.

I can definitely confirm that. Just installed a set of Swift springs and the car's height is just right for daily driving + winter.

Do you mind posting a pic of your car? Have you done alignment after the install?
