So I was at discount tire today getting a wheel replaced because of a punctured sidewall, they mounted a 225 sized tire on my wheel. The rest of my wheels are 215 & I didn't catch it until I checked the new tire when I got home. How much would this affect the awd drivetrain? I'm going to have them replace it eventually, I just won't be able to for a day or two.

Long term driving is not recommend as the the width changes the hieght. 225(width)40(%of width equals hieght)

 

^true, but for short distance he is ok. And the difference (as a %) is comparable to a worn tire versus a new one...

 

A couple days shouldn't do much damage, but don't expect it to be ok long-term. Depending on driving conditions/scenario I have seen that trigger some strange behavior and warning lights, etc. with the awd system.
