AWC Errors - RA pissed off

So I go out to my car on Saturday morning turn it on and now there is a Big "SERVICE REQUIRED". The picture is of the Drivetrain with the front tired cocked at a 45 angle. Looked it up and appears to be a problem with the AWC. $@#% - damn it. 10,4xx miles and I haven't even driven it very hard yet. GRRRRR...

Took it to the Dealership today. Will post more when I find out.

Yeah, I guess mine is the same thing, they keep calling my wife instead of me, I think the last thing that they said was something about the ACD pump as well. They supposedly got one in today, don't know when I'm going to get it back.

Got my RA back after 6 hours of labour by the dealership. From what I understand the ACD pump failed somehow so they had to replace it, took them like 2 weeks to get the part. It took 2.5 hours to bleed the system and 3 people. I was told they had about 10 fail in the winter and mine was the first to fail in the summer. They're mailing the broken pump back to Mitsu so they can figure out why it broke. I took my car to my dealer with AMS intake, mini battery, and FMIC and they didn't have a problem with it. I was wondering if any other people's dealers cared about mods?

I'd like to know that too, I took all my Mods off except the Boost gauge.

NEW UPDATE:

So I went to the Dealership Tuesday, and actually spoke with the Tech. Apparently no one there knows what anyone else is doing.
Last week. AWC Relay was replaced, Not the pump. As of this past Tuesday, apparently after they figured out that the Relay didn't fix the problem they finally ordered the Pump and had it overnighted to the Dealership.
Now I'm a LVL 3 Computer Tech, and I'm fully aware of Problem Diagnosis and Repair Process. I'm just trying to wrap my head around the fact that the relay was replaced last Tuesday and it took them a FULL WEEK to figure out that it was not the problem? COME ON WTF!!!!!! Sorry for the RANT, but this piece of junk loaner car is irritating me and I'm not used to the horrible slow pace of the Dealership. It's not like they are overwhelmed with work. I know one of the guys that works in the Ford side of the service department.
F-It, I'm leaving for RENO, NV tomorrow and definately won't let this ruin my trip.

Good luck to you; Dealers always work this way

It took me 3 days without my car so they could replace two scratched rotors and put on new pads; can you believe that?

Go on with your trip and disconnect from the world for a bit; that helps!

Got my RA back - already back in the shop

So I picked up my RA from the Dealership lastnight:

First - they were nice enough to run my gas tank completely empty. thanks jackasses.

Second - I get on the highway to go back to work and I have to fight the steering wheel cause it's pulling HARD to the left (They supposedly Balanced and Rotated my tires)

Third - when accelerating from a stop it sounds like a Spring Settling in the rear end. when Accelerating from 10 mph same thing. when starting the car when it has been sitting for a while I also get the noise. Sounds like the ACD pump was not bled properly and there is air in the system. I took the Tech for a ride and reproduced the sound muliple time and he started arguing with me saying that it was something mechanical and the ACD was bled properly. Then I showed him that it does it at startup. "Oh, well I guess we'll have to Bleed it again".

Fourth - they charged me for a 15k full service. When I went in there and dropped it off, I showed them the Service book and told them that I had just changed the oil and all I need done is Tire rotation, check the balance on them, and Check the Tranny and Diff fluids. They changed my oil like I told them not to, charged me for a new Air filter when mine was fine, changed my wiperblades which were also fine....... and charged me $168

Needless to say, I took it back this morning and Mother ****ed them ALOT.

I'm sooo PISSED OFF. I need some help here, for those of you that have had this ACD pump service done, could you let me know how long your cars were in the shop and if you have had this much trouble. If the Service Manager does not work with me on this, I'm going to be contacing Mitsu and see what happens.

i had mine done last week. it took them about 2 weeks to get my new pump in. then last wednesday, it took them from 3 to about 6:30. as you know the pump is in the rear right fender and they had to take my mudflap off and they told me the tank is really heavy. then 2.5 hours of it was them bleeding it since it took 3 people (one in the trunk to refill the pump, one in the driver seat to turn the wheel and one in the front to use the machine they use to run it). i honestly think our dealership is one of the best out there. My Tech said they wanted him to take my car out and put 20 miles on it to check the fluid level, but instead he told me to just check the pump daily for a while and gave me a bottle of trans fluid if it runs low. I see you're in cincy, i'm guessing ohio? i'm up in canton like 3.5 hours and if you really want to drive up here waikem mitsubishi is really good and friendly and didn't even care about my mods. their number is (330) 478-0281. hope it doesn't come to you having to drive this far but if it does they'll do a great job! all off this with no charge and my car drove normally afterward.

Yeah I'm Familiar with Canton, the wife has family in Akron over by Summit Racing. Must be nice, they didn't even bother showing me what or where anything was done. did they have your car for the full 2 weeks, or were you still driving it around until the Pump came in?
