Lightspeed innovations Custom tune

My car is up there right now (100 miles away ) being tuned as i write this.

Mods on the car are

Evo x intercooler + piping
UR intake
UR catback

They have tunned 7 so far, all in the 245+ awhp and 270 torque range.

With the mods, mainly the intake im hoping for mid 250's so well see

Ps. they use a dynopack awheel dyno, and stock evo x mr's drop 237 awhp on them, so they rate a tad low.

Dyno sheet tonight i hope!

wish me no kabooms!

Still, I'm guessing a stock RA might be in the high 190s for whp on that dyno. Can't wait to see how this turns out.

Just talked to the guys at lightspeed.

Car is done.

they had a stcok ralliart as well today, it put down 184whp on the same dyno.

My car on a nice conservative tune like i asked for put down 245 awhp and 271 torque on 21 psi. so thats 60 peak wheel which is awesome , and alot of torquies too!

air fuel tapers to 11.4 afr at wot which is awesome

Oh and keep in mind out altitude here is the same as denver basically!!

cant wait till it gets here!

wont have it till tomorrow i guess

243 awhp and 276 torque were the magic #'s

but now i hear a new sound under the hood. Its like.. the injectors tick, but slower and slightly louder, and you can only hear it in the cabin, under deceleration or at idle, but not if ur under the hood, unless you put your ear between the back of the intake and the fire wall...

so weird,

exhaust leak? fuel pump? lifter? turbo? im so confused..

^ I hear that on my stock RA, should be the natural roller valvetrain sound w/hydraulic lifters.

the roller valvetrain noise is decently loud, not audible from the cabin but audible from the side of the car with the hood down, with the hood up other sounds come in to play that mute that down a bit. If you noticed a difference and it's louder now or just a very loud sound period, you might want to ask the tuning place if that is common, or might have to put up and take it in to a dealer
