How much of a difference if any have you noticed? i know they claim 8hp and 8 tq but is that really enough for a noticable difference? does it make it sound better or spool faster?
i mean i probably will not notice that. but it feels good.. may be its my recent tune haha i dont know.

Personally I'd prefer a one piece setup but it looks better than stock

Its very tunable as its 11.4 now but those intakes suck in WAY MORE air then the car is expecting haha.
wait i thought this intake was suppose to be tuned from the factory ???

lol tuned, yes the intake has a micro chip in it that magically tells our maf sensor " hey buddy, dont worry about it "

More air = need for more fuel. Car not knowing more fuel is needed = kaboom.

I was under the impression that the Injen CAI had the same diameter housing around the MAF so therefore you could run it without a tune...correct me if I'm wrong?

It does has the same diameter, but that doesnt change the fact the ecu wont be able to properly account for the new air with fuel, unless it is properly tuned.

who knows though, maybe is some cases the stock tune is so rich that the injen just leans it out to a nice spot, anything is possible.

By linking to it you made folks think you had installed it.

you can run it without the tune, their claim is "the first tuned intake system" if you go to my CAI thread, i made 12 HP and 9 TQ, just bolted on and dyno'd
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/09...tuned-rre.html
with a tune, BONE STOCK + CAI = 264HP 284 TQ
