is anyone having hard starts on 2.5? i couldnt get my car to start today till the 3rd try. i noticed this happened when i was on v2 also. im not sure if its related to the tune and my extra mods

 

Where does one aquire such a boost pill?

 

This one is recommended as the basemaps are from GST as well and they used their Boost Pill with the ROMs.

It's probably the fuel relays if you haven't already upgraded them yet. Haha, edit, this was my 500th post on this website and I just "Evolved"...lol. Oh my gosh, I'm walking upright on two legs now!!!!!!

 

Do the 2011's have the upgraded fuel relay? I would imagine so... what color is the upgraded relay?

 

They should be blue if they're updated.

 

Yes I updated, I have blue relays and the gray one.

 

I searched through the thread a bit and didn't see this, but has anyone dyno'd the 91 map vs the 93 map? I just flashed to the 91 map for convenience(not many 93/94 stations around) and the butt dyno is telling me it's quite a bit different

 

Different as in lower or higher than the results posted?

 

Flashed my RA with the GST V2.5 93 octane stock pill today, but modified the lower bound ignition timing with V2 for smooth shifting... I wish it came from the factory like this! The car pulls much harder and shifts sooooo much smoother, I love it. Anyone else have problem starting up with v2.5? My car couldnt start up today (60 degrees on the dash)until the third try with my foot floored on the gas pedal and kept it cranking for 5 seconds.

 

I have noticed it is occasionally harder to start with V2.5. I wonder if this is caused by an adjustment to prevent the P050B CEL.

Hmm that's weird v2 never gave me a problem never any cel. Hopefully its a one time thing.

 

you get it in very cold temps, i got it a few times but it went away after it got warmer out, and azn i got the hard start ones on a cold day, i dont think we are gonna have cold days any more but we'll know next winter
