Nice work... getting in there with eyes open, reviewing! I like it.

One of Golden's XML mode23 items is pointing at the wrong data. Here are the CORRECT ones that line up with mode23 on 53610010...

Code:
  <table name="IFMode 0x05 -> 0x23 #1" category="Mode23" address="7efb1" type="1D" scaling="Hex8"/>

  <table name="IFMode 0x05 -> 0x23 #2" category="Mode23" address="8a919" type="1D" scaling="Hex8"/>

  <table name="DoMode 0x42 -> 0x52" category="Mode23" address="8a91e" type="1D" scaling="Hex16"/>

I'll go fix goldenevo.com. Well spotted.

That place it's currently pointing to, with the "38"... that's the first cell in the Cranking Enrichment IPW Adder table!

Hey Rich, just wondering if the rear O2 sensor has been disabled on the v27 for 2009. Coz I got my first CEL for my HFC and then after 150kms of clearing it, I got my second CEL.

It doesn't look like it's disabled, no. I'm looking at this one...

DTC P0139 Disable 0x1 -> 0x0 Oxygen Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank1, Sensor2)

...and it's still 0x1.

I'd also be keen to double-check the switch itself. This stuff has bounced around a bit in other (Evo X) threads, with some "disable" styles working, some not, some older styles dusted off to see if they work...

If you're getting a "reliable" DTC, I guess your car is a good test-bed!

I mean...

Intermittent/occasional issues are a total pain, as you THINK they are fixed... but the issue just hasn't popped up again.

But if your car can be relied upon to throw a "rear o2 sensor" code, it'll make it eay to verify the "stop throwing a code" switch works.

PS. Sorry for the mangled English before. It was really early.... pre-coffee early.

edit: My English hasn't got much better this time. Rearrange my words you must, only then understand their meaning you will, yes...

Way better for me now hahaha!

It happened when cruise control was activated and I was giving it a little gas. i dont know if there's a connection on that.

Checked the data stream and my rear 02 sensor values was all over the place.

Cool, thanks. I'll go read the voluminous explanations I have from Golden about P0139 and P0140 (again), and see what we can do...

Bryan, do you have any preference as to what should/shouldn't be part of the Base Map DTC "disables"? eg. the above rear-o2 items on a TBE oriented Base Map tune?

I got a problem logging from either off the tatrix (sdcard) and thru evoscan. Seems if I flash a 2009 rom to 2010 car, the address for the logcfg seems to go haywire and I won't get everything. Tried both 2009 and 2010 txtcfg and using evoscan for Mode23 2009 JP/EU/AU EVOX and Mode23 2010 JP/EU/AU EVOX.

Yep, the changes Mitsu made from 53610010 to 53610013 shuffled a lot of stuff around... including logging addresses.

However, the earlier discussion about this ROM set inspired me!... Last night, I sat down and started porting 0010 to 0013. All my custom tuned tables, code patches, extra table addresses I'd previously discovered, etc. are making their way across.

So I'll shortly be up to speed on 0013.

I might go ask Golden if he can dump out the logging addresses for it. I think he's got a system to do it...

3rd gear pull balance 16

Logged one pull on the way home from work this morning. It was a little damp out and she hesitated a bit at the start. I'm sure there is a lot more I need to be logging, just not sure if I'm capable of making it happen.

On a side note, just driving around in semi-normal conditions Balance 16 is (o)(o) and

Your boost control needs work, man. Will pm you.

edit: csmithcfg, please check your emails...

edit #2: All sorted now. He's back to lovely, solid looking boost curves. SST clutch action looks great too - negligible slip at peak torque. Nice!

AFAIK, that doesn't work with the 09 RA's, much like it doesn't work for the 2008 Evos'.

It does work for 2010 though.

For 2009 this should work (works for 2008 Evos)

Code:
<table name="DTC P0140 Disable 1500 -> 8000 0xygen Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 2)" address="539c0" category="Misc" type="1D" scaling="RPMStatLimit"/>
That is for 2009 USDM RA
