Anyway if anyone reading this later on was interested in a non-stupid answer, I figured out the solution

In your tune XML go to the table "ECU Options Set 2" and change Bit 1 (disable rear o2 sensor) from 1 to 0. You may have to go to the options first and change user level to developer, which will allow you to edit the tables. This will disable readiness and allow you to pass in Texas and many other states with annoying emissions tests.

I have no more Service Engine Soon light! Yay! Also btw this is on a 2010 Ralliart 93 octane BoostPill + TBE, so I'm not certain if it's the same for other cars/tunes.

Edit: btw I drove for probably about 4 hours (including highway driving, hard accel and idling) since making this change and it hasn't come back. I'll update if anything changes but I don't see why it would.

The good news is... I'm working on the ROM code patches required for 2012/2013 AUS/EDM right now. The general patch generation system is built and ready, and a few people are testing them in various ROMs.

Once I have the patches, I'll need to research up the AUS/EDM tables and other items.

Then, I'll finally be able to make 2012/2013 GST Base Maps.
