Why you couldn't remove the Ecutek mapping from your previous ECU? Is it because the ECU has been locked by your Ecutek dealer? I got an Ecutek mapping in my car and now I use OpenECU. I had no issue to remove the Ecutek & reflash with an OpenECU mapping.

I changed for OpenECU because I want to flash the ECU by myself & I got a very good support from a tuner using this software.
