Install FP Red turbo on RA

okay guys(ladies), Im going to ask for some help or advise on something. Im planning to swap out the little single scroll turbo with a FP Red turbo. These are the parts that I planned to buy: Fp Red turbo, Ams intercooler and pipes, Ams fuel rail and 800cc injectors, Ams tune. Besides an Injen cold air intake,my engine is stock, what else should I look in to? either parts or service? any suggestions would be great.

I was thinking about the fuel pump, but i asked the AMS guys they said the pump should be fine, but to be safe i would add that to my little list.

It is fine but if you want to maximize your power with the FP RED you need to install an upgraded fuel pump. Ultimate Racing sells one for the RA.

Our Ralliart has made 370 whp on our Dynojet and has not maxed out the stock fuel pump yet.

Don't forget the exhaust manifold and O2 housing. To maximize power, you'll probably also want to consider upgrades to the TBE system.

Yup you'll need manifold, turbo to manifold gasket, O2 housing gasket, air inlet pipe, air inlet pipe gasket, lower bracket and an X intake

The car actually ET's much slower on the Red than the stock X turbo. It can't launch and once it hits boost in first gear, its blowing thru the gear and hitting the rev limiter before shifting into 2nd.

Personally I would stick with a stock X turbo until the clutches and TCU tuning have been figured out.

An EVO X owner that upgraded their turbo. Chances are, you won't find them spending a lot of time in the RA forums. You might need to go where they are: EVO X forums.
